Cookie policy

Last updated October 20, 2026

We use the cookies and browser storage the site needs to work, and we count visits to this website without cookies. Only session recordings (Microsoft Clarity) and measuring our ads (Meta) set cookies on this website, and only if you allow them in the question at the bottom of the page.

These are set by Qouh itself:

  • rt-token: keeps you signed in to the app (30 days, renewed while you use it).
  • NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose.
  • sidebar_state: remembers whether the app's menu is collapsed (7 days).
  • billing_banner: hides a billing notice until the next day (2 days).

The signed-in app also stores a few things in your browser:

  • session-renewed-at: when your session was last renewed.
  • setup-checklist-collapsed: whether you folded the “Get set up” card.
  • plan-route-card-collapsed: whether you folded the “Plan a route” card on Today.
  • An offline copy of the app pages you opened, so the app still opens without a connection. It is cleared when you sign out.
  • route-planner: the route you are working on in “Plan a route”, kept only in this browser tab (session storage) until you close it.
  • public-route-planner: the route you are working on in the website’s “Plan a route” tool, kept only in this browser tab (session storage) until you close it.
  • site-consent: your answers to the question about session recordings and, where it is asked, measuring our ads on this website (allowed or not, for each), so we don't ask again.
  • site-chat-greeting: the day the WhatsApp button last greeted you on this website, so it greets you at most once a day.
  • site-theme: whether you chose the light or the dark look for this website; without it the website follows your device.
  • site-currency: the currency you chose for the prices on this website; without it the prices follow your browser’s language settings.
  • platform-folds: which cards of the platform statistics you folded (our own staff only).
  • app-theme: whether you chose the light or the dark look for the app; without it the app follows your device.
  • site-country-notice: that you closed the note about your country on this website, so it doesn’t come back.

We count visits to this website with our own analytics software on our own server: which pages are opened, how people arrive, the country, the browser and the screen size. It sets no cookies and shares nothing with anyone else, so we don’t ask for consent. Browsers that send a “do not track” signal are left out. This counts only the public website, not the app or the booking pages.

If you allow it, we record how this website is used on our own server: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages you open, with everything you type hidden. These recordings set no cookies, aren’t shared with anyone and are deleted after 30 days. Microsoft Clarity may record the same way: Microsoft then sets its own cookies (_clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM) and receives your IP address and browser details, under Microsoft’s privacy statement. We use both to see where the site is unclear. You can change your choice at the bottom of this page.

If you allow it, the Meta Pixel tells Meta which pages of this website you open and when you plan a route, and we tell Meta when you create an account (with your email address hashed). Meta uses it to show which of our ads on Facebook and Instagram help, and may use it under its own policy, for example to show you our ads. Meta then sets its cookies _fbp (90 days) and, when you came from an ad, _fbc (90 days), and receives your IP address and browser details. We ask about it only while we run ads. Nothing loads before you say yes, and a no removes these cookies. You can change your choice at the bottom of this page.

When you pay through Stripe or connect Google Calendar, you are on their site, and they set their own cookies under their own policies. When spam protection is on, Google reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies on the sign-up and contact forms and, once you open it, the route planner.
